Police training exercise (4-15-13)

The police department will hire three new officers this year. The physical training is
the first step toward hiring. Ninety participants tried out and 74 passed. A written test will be given in
May and training for those hired will start in September. Hopefuls, including Sean Bakhsh (above), had to
maneuver through an obstacle course that included running 300 yards, jumping a six-foot high fence, and
