Installation of new traffic signals on North Main Street between Poe Road and Van Camp Road is continuing as weather permits. Thursday this worker was preparing for new signals to be installed at the Kroger store entrance/exit. Once all of the new traffic signals are installed, the entire system is to be synchronized by a computerized controller. Cameras mounted on the arms that also hold the lights will be used to help monitor traffic and control the lights. (Photo: J.D. Pooley/Sentinel-Tribune)

PLEASE, get the timing of the lights fixed. I'm a little tired of hearing excuses as to why it isn't resolved. I realize these things take time, but my goodness,it shouldn't take this long. Sorry, but far greater/harder things have been accomplished in much shorter periods of time. Someone's been sitter on their rear and not getting this fixed. It's a real pain for people. When something effects such a large mass of people,it needs to get moved on much quicker.
