Bishop, a veteran of WWII, listens during the Memorial Day Service held at the Veteran’s Building in Bowling
Green City Park. Rain forced Bowling Green’s Memorial Day parade and program inside this morning. The
program was moved to the Veterans Building at City Park. The parade traditionally marches on Main Street to
Court Street, makes a stop at the War Memorials at the Wood County Courthouse and then moves on to Oak Grove
Cemetery for the program. The address was delivered by Lt. Col. Hien Nguyen, head of Air Force ROTC
Detachment 620 at Bowling Green State University. (Photos: Shane Hughes/Sentinel-Tribune) SEE MORE
