Janet and Larry Sorrells (left) participate in the Crop Walk in BG City Park. More than 60 people representing many local churches gathered Sunday afternoon and walked to help end hunger. More than $2,800 has been collected with more donations being accepted in the next two weeks. When the final totals are in, 25 percent will go to a local food pantry and the rest to provide food, clean water and emergency relief for people in this country and around the world.
