Leon Redbone was the festival’s first headliner in
1993. Heavy rain
forced his performance inside at St. Mark’s. He has returned to perform

at the festival every few years, most recently in 2007. He closed the

show that year. It was hot, and he relaxed between tunes sipping a cool

beverage. (Photo: David Dupont/Sentinel-Tribune)
