TOLEDO – Toledo defeated Kalamazoo, 5-1 in an ECHL game Sunday. The Walleye are 21-39-3-2.
Max Shalunov scored twice for Toledo while Jake Chelios, Richard Nedomele and Ryan Flanigan also scored
goals.
Hannu Toivonen made 26 saves for Toledo.
On Saturday in Kalamazoo, the Walleye posted a 2-1 shootout victory.
Brett Perlini scored in regulation for Toledo and Shalunov and Jimmy McDowell scored in the shootout.
Toivonen made 25 saves, and also stopped four of five shots in the shootout, for Toeldo.
