TOLEDO - Despite a 2-0 loss to Reading on Sunday, Toledo has clinched a spot in the ECHL playoffs after Kalamazoo lost to Wheeling in a shootout. The Walleye have a record of 35-26-5-4 with two games remaining in the regular season.
Jordan Pearce made 20 saves in the 2-0 loss.
On Saturday, Reading beat Toledo 3-1. Willie Coetzee scored Toledo's goal and Kent Simpson made 20 saves.
