BG women’s basketball, golf recognized for academics
Bowling Green’s women’s basketball team had the 25th-best grade-point average in NCAA Division I last
season.
The Falcons’ gpa was 3.384.
In women’s golf, the Falcons were 24th nationally with a 3.639 gpa.

BG Middle School football meeting planned
An informational meeting for Bowling Green Middle School students interested in playing seventh- and
eighth-grade football is Aug. 6 at 7 p.m.
Students should attend with their parents and bring completed forms to the meeting in the cafeteria.
Forms must be filed in order to participate when practice begins at 2:50 p.m. Aug. 11.
