Bobcat hockey ranked ninthCOLUMBUS – Bowling Green was ranked ninth in the first state high school
hockey coaches poll of the season announced Monday night.The Bobcats received 22 points in the coaches

basketball player Alexis Rogers has been named Mid-American Conference East Division player of the
week.Rogers, a senior, averaged a team-high 16.0 points along with 6.5 rebounds and 2.0 assists per game in
the Falcons’ two contests last week.Against UMass, Rogers had 16 points and a game-high eight rebounds, and
hit 8-of-10 shots from the field in just 22 minutes.Rogers also added three assists and two steals. Then, at
Purdue, Rogers again had 16 points and added five rebounds. She hit 5-of-9 shots from the floor and was
6-of-6 from the free-throw line.Owens women winTOLEDO – Eboni Carter scored 31 points in Owens Community
College’s 98-44 win over Grand Rapids Saturday night. Owens is 13-1.The fourth-ranked Express led 49-19 at
halftime as they won their 13th straight game.
