3 BGSU men's soccer players honored for academics
CLEVELAND - Three Bowling Green State University men's soccer players were named to the Academic All-Mid-American Conference first-team.
BG's Ryan Comiskey, Brandon Silva and Michael Wiest, all seniors, are on the first-team.
Additionally, four other Falcons earned honorable mention -senior Anthony Grant, sophomores Jake Genrich and Ryan James and redshirt freshman Max Auden.
Comiskey currently maintains a 3.70 cumulative grade-point average as an early childhood education major.
Silva is wrapping up his first semester in graduate school at BGSU as a kinesiology major. He graduated from the University in May of 2013, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology and a minor in Spanish. Silva had a perfect 4.00 cumulative GPA during his undergraduate career.
Wiest is a physical education teacher education major with a 3.50 cumulative GPA.
