Three Northwood playersearn All-Ohio football honors COLUMBUS - Three Northwood linemen were named to the Division V All-Ohio high school football announced Wednesday night. The three were seniors David Bogart, Nick Whitmore and Justin Rohrs. Bogart was named to the second-team offense, and Whitmore and Rohrs were named to the third-team defense. The complete Division V and Division VI teams have been posted on sent-trib.com. Owens women post win MOUNT PLEASANT. Mich. - Breonna House scored a team-high 18 points off the bench to help the Owens Community College women's basketball team to an 88-48 win over Mid-Michigan Community College Wednesday. House went 8-for-16 from the field and 2-for-4 from the foul line, while adding five rebounds, three assists and two steals. Also for Owens, Emma-Jean Ricketts finished with 17 points and four rebounds and Nandi Taylor added 10 points, six assists, three rebounds and two steals. Owens is 4-2 overall. Express men beat Delta College UNIVERSITY CENTER, Mich. - Justin Edmonds scored 28 points to help the Owens Community College men's basketball team beat Delta College, 76-73. Edmonds added four assists and five steals, both team-highs. He now has 73 points in the last three games. Also for Owens, Joe Retic II had 14 points and James Kelly had 10 points and nine rebounds. The Express improved to 7-3 overall. Middle school wrestling tourney set LUCKEY - The annual Tom Conkle Wrestling Dual tournament for middle school teams is Saturday starting at 9 a.m. at Eastwood High School. Toys For Tots game set ROSSFORD - Rossford High School is hosting a boys basketball tripleheader on Dec. 15 against Clay High School. The freshmen game starts at 4:45 p.m. with the boys junior varsity and varsity games to follow. Toys will be collected during the evening for families in need. BG Rife Club loses Tiffin defeated the Bowling Green Rifle Club, 1,413-1,409. BG's scorers were: Bob Schwiebert and Kris Link, 286 each; Eric Link, 282; Rickard Dittman, 279; and Don Link, 276. |
