this week.Dollar Days set for BGSU basketballThe Bowling Green State University is offering two Dollar Day
games in December for home basketball games in the Stroh Center.Tickets, hot dogs, popcorn and soda will be
each be just $1.Bowling Green’s men’s basketball game on Dec. 11 against North Dakota at 7 p.m. will be the
first Dollar Day and the BG women’s basketball game against St. Francis (Pa.) on Dec. 29 at 2 p.m. will be
the second Dollar Day.Fans can only pick up their $1 tickets by visiting the Stroh Center Ticket Office
today and Wednesday. The ticket office is open until 5:30 p.m. today and from 8:30 a.m.-3 p.m. on
Wednesday.Halfhill earns MAC honorCLEVELAND – Bowling Green State University’s Jillian Halfhill is the
Mid-American Conference women’s basketball player of the week.A senior, Halfhill averaged 11.8 points, 3.8
rebounds and a team-leading 2.8 assists per contest as the Falcons went 3-1. She capped her week against
Ohio State on Sunday with 13 points, five rebounds, and six assists as the Falcons posted a 64-52 win.MAC
recognizes BG’s GriffinCLEVELAND -Bowling Green State University freshman Victoria Griffin is the
Mid-American Conference’s swimmer of the week after setting a school record in the 100 freestyle.Griffin
became the first BGSU swimmer to post a time of better than 50 seconds in the 100 freestyle. Her 49.87 met
the NCAA B cut and provided her with one of her two victories on the weekend.Griffin was also part of the
200 freestyle relay team that finished first and was on the 400 freestyle relay team that placed second.
Individually, she added a third place finish in the 50 freestyle and was a member of the third-place 400
medley relay team.
