Northwood players on All-TAAC football team
Northwood's Dominik Bermejo and Myles Habel were first-team selections on both offense and defense on the All-Toledo Area Athletic Conference football team.
Bermejo was selected as a running back on offense and a defensive back on defense.
Habel was honored as a lineman on both offense and defense.
Northwood linemen Travis Whitmore and Luke Laviolette also were named to the first-team offense.
Northwood's other first-team picks on defense were: lineman Kyle Corbitt; linebacker Dylan Napier; and defensive back Jake Davenport.
Northwood's Jacob Vickers was the first-team kicker.
Three Rangers were named to the second-team - running back Davenport, offensive lineman Travis Singlar and defensive lineman Kyle Kirchner.
Davenport was the special teams player of the year.
Northwood's Michael Vallejo, Derek Florez and Jayden Parker were named honorable-mention.
The teams were selected by TAAC coaches.

BG site for U.S. Baseball Academy
The U.S. Baseball Academy is opening a site in Bowling Green and beginning registration for its winter/spring program Feb. 8-March 15.

Bob Schultz, the head baseball coach at Bowling Green High School, is the program director.
Proceeds from the program benefit amateur baseball in Bowling Green.
