BGSU volleyball beats Miami
The Bowling Green State University volleyball team rallied to defeat Miami, 25-22, 25-23, 22-25, 20-25, 16-14 Thursday in a Mid-American Conference match at the Stroh Center.
BG's leaders were: freshman Jelena Sunjic, 22 kills; Danielle Tonyan, 21 kills; Paige Penrod, 12 kills, 11 digs, two aces; Laura Avila, 56 assists, 11 digs; Ashley Dunn, from Bowling Green High School, 29 digs; Libby Dachenhaus, 14 digs; Kaitlyn Skinner, 10 digs; and Alyssa Maloney, two solo blocks, seven block assists.
The Falcons are 12-11 overall and 8-3 in the MAC.
Falcon women's soccer ends season with loss
MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. - Central Michigan defeated the Bowling Green State University women's soccer team, 2-0.
Jenna DiTusa made six saves for the Falcons, who finished 0-15-2 overall and 0-9-2 in the Mid-American Conference.
BGSU basketball exhibitions set
A basketball doubleheader is set for Saturday at the Stroh Center.
The Bowling Green State University men face Malone at 2 p.m. followed by the Falcon women against Tiffin at 4:30 p.m. in a pair of exhibition games.
One ticket, priced at $5, is good for admission to both games.
