Eastwood 15th in state poll
COLUMBUS — Eastwood is ranked 15th in Division V in the state-wide poll this week with 13 points.
The Eagles, 7-2 overall, were 15th last week with 15 points.

Pre-sale of Perrysburg-Maumee tickets set
PERRYSBURG — Tickets for the Perrysburg at Maumee football game on Friday are being sold in advance.
Tickets are available Thursday and Friday from 8 a.m.-2 p.m. at the Perrysburg High School athletic office. Tickets are $6 for adults and $5 for students.
Kickoff is at 7 p.m. at Maumee High School.
BGSU men’s golfers third
VERO BEACH, Fla. — The Bowling Green State University men’s golf team is third after the first day of the Quail Valley Intercollegiate.
The Falcons shot a 590, 12 shots behind tournament-leader Louisiana-Monroe in the nine-team field.
BG’s scores were: Brett Rinker, 141, fourth; Joe Narro and Chris Melvin, 146, tied for 14th; and Joe Cooper and Ryan Triller, 150, tied for 30th.
Rinker, Narro and Melvin each shot an opening round 68.
Four county-owned horses to be recognized
RIDGEVILLE CORNERS — Four harness horses owned by Wood County residents will be recognized at the Northwestern Ohio Colt Racing Association’s annual banquet.
The four horses are: Countonmen, owned by John Konesky of Pemberville and Patrick Konesky of Bowling Green; Happy Go Jamie, co-owned by Steve Bateson of Rudolph; Our Little Jess, co-owned by Angela Ott of Luckey; and Chuckie B, owned by Dan Venier of Pemberville.
The awards banquet is Nov. 23 at the Ward L. Adams American Legion Post, starting at 6 p.m.
Shea to Rockford
ROCKFORD, Ill. — Bobby Shea, a former Bowling Green Falcon, started the season with Toledo, but has been recalled by Rockford of the American Hockey League.
Shea appeared in three games with the Walleye and had one assist, two penalty minutes and a plus-2 on-ice rating.
