Eastwood football ranked 15th
COLUMBUS - Eastwood's football team is ranked 15th in this week's state media poll.
The Eagles, 6-2 overall and 4-1 in the Northern Buckeye Conference, received 15 points. Eastwood wasn't ranked last week.

Falcon hockey receives votes
Bowling Green received 10 points in this week's U.S. College Hockey Online poll.
The Falcons, 2-1-2 overall after tying and beating Colgate  last weekend, had three points a week ago.

Falcon men's golfers ninth
POWELLS POINT, N.C. - The Bowling Green State University men's golf team lowered its first round score by 10 strokes Monday in the second round of the Outerbanks Invitational.
The Falcons are tied for ninth in the 18-team field with a 588. The University of Hartford is the tournament leader at 567.
BG's scorers are: Chris Melvin, tied for 12th, 143; Brett Rinker, tied for 18th, 144; Ryan Triller, tied for 46th, 149; Jose Narro, tied for 62nd, 153; and Joe Cooper, tied for 67th, 153.
Melvin had a 1-under-par 70 Monday.
The tournament concludes today.

All-MAL volleyball team picked
Four players from Wood County high schools have earned All-Midland Athletic League honorable mention in volleyball.
The selections are: Lakota's Alaina Bickford and Bree Long-Meyer; and North Baltimore's Mackenzie Stewart and Maddie Ray.
Kara Scherger was the player of the year and Cindy Walerius was the coach of the year. Both are from New Riegel.

BG youth baseball meeting set
The year-end meeting for Bowling Green youth baseball is Monday at 6:30 p.m. at the Henschen Building at Carter Park.
