BG men's soccer tie
HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. - The Bowling Green State University men's soccer team played a 0-0 tie with Northern Kentucky Sunday. The Falcons are 1-4-4 overall.
BG's Michael Wiest made three saves in recording his third shutout of the season.

Falcon women's soccer loses
KENT - Kent State defeated Bowling Green State University's women's soccer team, 5-1 Sunday.
Madeline Wideman scored a goal and Lauren Cadel and Michelle Denley combined for four saves for the Falcons, 0-8 overall and 0-2 in the Mid-American Conference.

BGSU tennis competes
OXFORD - The Bowling Green State University tennis team completed in the four-team Miami Invitational over the weekend. No team scores were kept.
BG's Nikki Chiricosta and Emily Reuland each posted two victories Sunday.
Chiricosta picked up a pair of doubles victories, teaming with Reuland for an 8-4 win over a Xavier duo, and pairing with sophomore Katie Brozovich for an 8-5 victory over Louisville's Pough/Boesing tandem.
Reuland got her other victory in singles play.

Owens men's soccer splits
Lake Michigan College beat Owens Community College men's soccer team, 3-2 Sunday.
Jacob Martin and Ahmad Jarrar scored for Owens and Joshua Kleinow made five saves.
On Saturday, Kleinow made seven saves and Martin scored the only goal of the game as Owens beat Muskegon CC, 1-0.
Owens is 9-2-1 overall and 7-2-1 in Region XII.

Express women win
Jessica Grindle scored two goals to help the Owens Community College women's soccer team beat Lake Michigan, 3-0 Sunday.
Grindle, a Northwood High School graduate, has scored 15 goals for the Express, including 13 in the last six games.
Lacee Ortman also scored and Erika Brinkman made two saves for the Express, -2.
On Saturday, Owens scored twice in the first five minutes of the second half to beat Muskegon CC, 2-1.
Grindle and Jill Burkholder scored for Owens and Brinkman was in goal, but did not record a save.
