Four county teams in computer poll
COLUMBUS - Four Wood County football teams have earned sports in the top 12 of the first state-wide computer rankings.
In Division IV, Lake is sixth at 7.0.
In Division V, Eastwood is third at 6.75.
In Division VI, Lakota is 10th with 3.65.
In Division VII, North Baltimore is tied for fifth at 3.075.
The top eight from each region in Division II through VII qualify for the playoffs.

Orange and Brown scrimmage set for BGSU men's basketball
The Bowling Green State University men's basketball team will hold its annual Orange and Brown scrimmage Oct. 19 at noon in the Stroh Center.
The scrimmage is open and free to the public.

Express men's soccer ties
The Owens Community College men's soccer team battled to a tie of 1-1 against Cincinnati State in Ohio Community College Athletic Conference play.
Jacob Martin scored for Owens, and Joshua Kleinow made five saves.
The Express are 8-1-1 overall, 2-0-1 in the OCCAC. Owens and Cincinnati State are tied for first place in the conference.
