Hunter education planned
GIBSONBURG - There is a Hunter Education Course set for Nov. 9 from 9 a.m.-noon at the  American Legion Hall in Gibsonburg.
The course will be given by Ohio Division of Wildlife certified instructors. The course is a requirement for hunters who want to receive their first hunting license, and is a good refresher course for seasoned hunters.
Students must pre-register for the course by calling the Division of Wildlife at 1-800-WILDLIFE.
This is a home study type program and all students must read and complete the chapter review questions of the hunter education manual before attending the course.
The manual can be obtained on line or will be sent after registering for the course.
For more information call Charlie Nopper at (419) 637 7565.
