Perrysburg selling  advance football tickets
PERRYSBURG - Tickets for the Perrysburg at Toledo Central Catholic football game will be available at Perrysburg High School on Thursday and Friday from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
Tickets, which can be picked up at the athletic office, are $4 for students and $6 for adults. Tickets at the gate on Friday are $7.

Boyd named assistant coach at Western Michigan
KALAMAZOO, Mich. - Former Bowling Green Falcon hockey player Josh Boyd has been named an assistant coach at Western Michigan.
Boyd had 10 goals and 12 assists in 90 games at BG from 2006-10.
He went on to play in the East Coast Hockey League and the Southern Professional Hockey League, and recently was a scout for the Sudbury Wolves in the Ontario (Junior) Hockey League.

BGSU men's golf finishes ninth
HUNTINGTON, W.Va. - Bowling Green State University's men's golf team finished ninth at the Marshall Invitational on Tuesday, with a 54-hole score of 877.
Freshman Jose Narro led the Falcons with a final round of 71, which was good for a 21st place tie with a 217 total.
Also scoring for BG were: Ryan Triller and Brett Rinker, tied for 31st, 219 each; Chris Melvin, tied for 44th, 222; Holden Pahr, tied for 49th, 224; and Josh Bialecki, tied for 69th, 228.

Owens men's golf places two teams in tournament
WAUSEON - Owens Community College's men's golf team placed two teams in the top four of the Jon P. Spiess Memorial Tournament at Ironwood Golf Course.
Owens' A team was second shooting a 300, while the B team was fourth with a 309.
Trine University's A team won the 10-team event with a 288.
Leading scorers for the Express A team were: Brandon Hoelzer, 71; Blaze Hogan, 73; Kirby Manown, 77; and Philippe Weppernig, 79.
Leading the Owens B team was: Dru Hein, 74; Timothy Dawkins, 75; tyler Crossley, 76; Neil Recker, 84; and Riley Robinson, 91.
