Panthers sign Mruczkowski SPARTANBURG, S.C. - The Carolina Panthers have signed former Bowling Green Falcon Scott Mruczkowski to a free-agent contract. Mruczkowski played seven years with the San Diego, seeing action on 83 games with 16 starts. He was a fifth-round draft pick in 2005. "This is a guy that was with us in San Diego that Chud (offensive coordinator Rob Chudzinski) knows well, I know well. (A) smart football player (who) understands this offense, understands protections and understands defenses," Panthers' head coach Ron Rivera said. "We're looking for someone who can come in and possibly be a security blanket." |
