Coed softball tourney set
CYGNET - A coed 16-inch softball tournament is planned for Sept. 14 starting at 10 a.m.
The entry fee is $125 and 100 percent of the funds raised will be used to cover medical expenses for Brian Strickland. The entry deadline is Sept. 4.
The tournament is double-elimination and USSSA coed softball rules will apply.

NB parents meeting planned
NORTH BALTIMORE - The state mandatory fall sports parent meeting is Wednesday in the Auditeria at North Baltimore High School.
All fall athletes and their parents need to attend the meeting, which includes the Ohio High School Athletic Association preseason video. If you cannot attend, you will need to set up a time with the individual head coach.
