Perrysburg youth baseball team plans tryouts
PERRYSBURG – The Perrysburg Black U12 travel baseball team is holding tryouts for the 2015 season.
The tryouts are July 31 and Aug. 4 from 6-8 p.m. at the Perrysburg Township big field, 26082 Fort Meigs
Road.
Players are only required to be at one tryout, but are welcome to attend both. Players must not turn 13
before May 1, 2015 and do not have to reside in the Perrysburg school district to be eligible.
The team will play about 40 games. The team will play in the upper division of the Northwest Ohio Amateur
Baseball League and play in five to six tournaments.

Otsego travel softball tryouts scheduled
TONTOGANY – Tryouts for the 2015 Otsego travel softball teams are Aug. 2 at the high school varsity
softball field.
Tryouts for 10U players will be 10 a.m.-noon, 12U players will be noon-2 p.m., and 14U players will be
2-4 p.m. The cutoff date for ages is Jan 1.
Parents should accompany their child to the tryouts. The rain date or alternate date for players who
cannot attend on Aug. 2 will be Aug. 9 with the same times.
Tryouts for the 8U team are Sept. 6 at noon.
