Rossford sets sports physicals
ROSSFORD - Rossford High School has its sports physicals set for July 31 at 5 p.m. The cost is $20 cash.

Owens men's golf team plans fundraisers
The Owens Community College men's golf program has two fundraiser events planned.
The Texas Hold 'Em Open Two-Person scrambles are Aug. 17 at Lakeland Golf Course in Fostoria and Sept. 28 at Heather Downs Country Club in Toledo.
Each event will have a 9 a.m. shotgun start and the cost is $110 per team or $55 per person. Each entrant receives beverage tickets and food. There will be three divisions - championship, senior and women's.
Coordinated by the Owens men's golf program, the event will have players receiving a playing card for each stroke under par for the 18-hole round. They must select only two cards to play the hand. Every team will receive two cards regardless of score and best hand wins.

All proceeds from both events will go directly to the Owens golf program.
The Links Lassies held a medal play event at Forrest Creason Golf Course Tuesday.
The flight winners were: A, Eileen Smith, low gross and Smith and Terri Glick, low net; B, Carol Jones, low gross and low net; C, Shirley Kausch, low gross and low net; and low putts, Smith.
