BG women to play in Hall of Fame Challenge
Bowling Green will play four games in the Basketball Hall of Fame Women's Challenge.
The Falcons will play three games at Ohio State. They'll face Marist Nov. 22, Old Dominion Nov. 23 and OSU Nov. 24. The starting times have not been announced.
BG's other game is against Monmouth Dec. 1 in a 10 a.m. start at the MassMutual Center in Springfield, Mass. The game is the first of four that day.
Openings for dinner at Gridiron Classic
The Bowling Green State University football team is hosting the 2013 GridIron Classic on July 22 at the Catawba Island Club in Port Clinton.
The golf portion is sold out, but spots remain available for the evening dinner.
Former BGSU head football coach Gary Blackney is this year's special guest. Cost of the dinner is $125.
Isaac joins BGSU athletics
Greg Isaac has been named the assistant director for student-athlete services at Bowling Green State University, the school's athletics department announced Thursday.
Isaac will be responsible for the student-athlete affairs programming, advising SAAC, and will be the academic coordinator for the following teams: men's basketball, men's cross country, women's cross country/track, men's and women's golf, gymnastics, swimming and tennis.
Isaac brings two decades of progressive administrative, supervisory, and advising experience to this position. Most recently, he was the assistant director of student-athlete academic support services at Northern Illinois from 2006-2011.
Youth golf clinic planned
A youth golf clinic for players age 13-16 will be held July 9, 11, 16 and 18 with daily sessions from 10 a.m.-noon at Dixie Driving Range. The clinic is sponsored by the Bowling Green Country Club.
The cost is $70.
