Schorsch loses in round of 16
INDIANAPOLIS - Jeffrey Schorsch, a 2013 graduate of Perrysburg High School, dropped a 6-3, 6-3 decision to Felix Corwin in the round of 16 at the USTA Midwest section closed junior championships.
Schorsch was the No. 16 seed and Corwin was the No. 6 seed.
Schorsch has signed a national letter of intent to attend Valparaiso University.

Perrysburg wrestlers to compete in Disney Duals
PERRYSBURG - Nineteen Perrysburg High School wrestlers are participating in the AAU Wrestling Scholastic Duals Tournament at Walt Disney World this week.
The Yellow Jackets entered two teams in the tournament. The teams will weigh in on Thursday, and the tournament will take place Friday through Monday.
The students earned the money for the trip by doing landscaping and painting for area businesses as well as a candle fundraiser. Several local businesses and the Perrysburg Wrestling Club also donated money for the trip.

Links Lassies
The Links Lassies held a medal play event on Tuesday at Forrest Creason Golf Course.
The flight winners were: A, Eileen Smith, low gross and low net; B, Fran Sakola, low gross and low net; C, Linda Meyer and Shirley Kausch tied for both low gross and low net; and Smith, low putts.
