Woodmore has opening for varsity softball coach
ELMORE – Woodmore High School has an opening for a varsity softball coach.
Possible teaching positions in science and special education are available.

Falcon golfers honored for academics
CLEVELAND – Six members of Bowling Green’s women’s golf team were named to the Mid-American Conference
all-academic team, the conference announced.
Kelsey Benson and Patricia Holt were named to the first team. Bailey Arnold, Lily Bartell, Hannah Lewis
and Shelby Wilson were named honorable mention.
Benson has a 4.0 grade-point in psychology, Holt has a 3.8 gpa in sport management, Arnold has a 3.4 gpa
in biology, Bartell has a 3.7 gpa in journalism, Lewis has a 3.6 gpa in business and Wilson has a 3.9
gpa in nursing.
On the men’s team, BG’s Joshua Bialecki, Chris Melvin, Holden Pahr, and Ryan Triller earned honorable
mention.
Bialecki has a 3.3 gpa in adolescence to young adult education, Melvin has a 3.2 gpa in finance, Pahr has
a 4.0 gpa in business and Triller has a 3.5 gpa in sport management.
State Special Olympics planned
The Ohio Special Special Olympics summer games are June 27-29, primarily at Ohio State University.
More than 2,500 athletes will be compete.
Wood County Special Olympians from Wood County are: Aaron Baker, Christine Black, Daniel Bowen, Samantha
Buck, Alanna Bucksky, Nikki Bucksky, Sara Burrell, George Dutton, Kim Fetcher, Kalie Fisher, Kristen
Fisher, Melissa Frizado, Mason Gregg, Paula Heffelfinger, Tyler Hitt, John Kuhbander, Michael Nietz,
Ryan Rath, Trevor Sachs, Abbey Sattler, Stephen Scholl, Anne Schooley, Jo Lynn Snyder and Jacob West.
