Bari named BGSU assistant strength and conditioning coach
Chad Bari has been named an assistant strength and conditioning coach at Bowling Green Sate University.
Bari earned his bachelors degree in applied science from Youngstown State in May after serving as an intern in the BGSU strength and conditioning department since January. He assisted in all areas of strength and conditioning at Bowling Green, helping with all 18 sports.
"Chad is one of the brightest up-and-coming strength coaches I know," BGSU Director of Strength and Conditioning Brandon Hourigan said. "Specifically, his knowledge of Jump stretch band methods and speed development has been a great help in developing explosive athletes here at BGSU. Chad is a great addition to our strength and conditioning staff and we're excited to have him on board."
Prior to his time at Bowling Green, Bari was a trainer at Jump Stretch Inc. in Youngstown, was a fitness tester in the Youngstown State University athletics department and volunteered with the Penguins' strength and conditioning program. Bari is also a certified strength and conditioning specialist.
