Losby, Bien named to All-MAC first-team
AVON – Bowling Green catcher T.J. Losby and shortstop Brian Bien were first-team selections on the
All-Mid-American Conference baseball team announced Tuesday night.
Losby was named the inaugural defensive player of the year.
Losby is hitting .331 with 36 RBI and 25 runs. He also has just four errors and 312 putouts in 50 games.

Bien is hitting .354 with 17 stolen bases and 21 RBI.
Owens men’s golf shoots 298
PLYMOUTH, Ind. – Owens Community College’s men’s golf team fired a 298, good for second place, in the
first round of the National Junior Colege Athletic Association Division II National Tournament Tuesday.

The third-ranked Express are one stroke behind No. 2 Walters State. Parkland College is third after
shooting 300.
Scoring for Owens was: Philippe Weppernig, 73; Harrison Long, 74; Brandon Hoelzer, 75; and Kirby Manown,
76.
The tournament, being held at Swan Lake Resort continues today.
