Buffalo downs BGSU baseball
Buffalo defeated the Bowling Green State University baseball team Thursday, 10-4.
Brian Bien had two hits for the Falcons while Jake Thomas hit a triple and Jesse Rait hit a double.
The Falcons are 19-27 overall and 12-13 in the Mid-American Conference with two regular-season games remaining.

London resigns BGSU position
Emily London has resigned her position as an assistant women's basketball coach at Bowling Green State University, according to a spokesman from the BGSU athletics communications department.
With London's registration, head coach Jennifer Roos has two positions to fill as Ali Mann resigned her assistant coaching position in February.

Falcon tennis players honored
CLEVELAND - Bowling Green Falcon tennis players Maddy Eccleston, Nikki Chiricosta and Emily Reuland were named to the academic All-Mid-American Conference first-team, the conference announced Thursday.
Eccleston, a health science major, has a 3.958 grade-point-average.
Chiricosta is a communications major and has 3.967 GPA.
Reuland, an exercise science major, has a 3.902 GPA.
Eccleston was honored for the third straight year while Chiricosta and Reuland were each honored for the second straight year.
BG's Katie Grubb, Mary Hill and Jade Johnson earned honorable mention.
BG led all schools with three players named to the first team and six players recognized overall.

BGSU's Pleger seeded No. 2 in region
INDIANAPOLIS - Bowling Green State University redshirt's Brooke Pleger is the No. 2 seed for the hammer throw at the NCAA outdoor track and field east regional in Greensboro, N.C. Wednesday through May 25.
With a career-best throw of 66.99 meters, Pleger ranks behind only Princeton's Julia Ratcliffe, at 68.80 meters, in the region.
At the regional, 48 hammer throwers will compete for the regional crown. The top 12 finishers will advance to the NCAA championships in Eugene, Ore. June 5-8.

Otsego girls camp set
TONTOGANY - Otsego is hosting its annual girls basketball camp on June 3, 4 and 5.
The schedule is: incoming fourth-eighth graders from 1-3:30 p.m.; and incoming ninth-12th graders from 9 a.m.-noon.
All participants will receive a basketball and T-shirt.
