Owens baseball wins
BATTLE CREEK, Mich. - Nate Manis' two-run, two-out single in the 10th inning Wednesday gave Owens Community College's basseball team 6-4 win over Jackson Community College in the NJCAA regional tournament.
Benjamin Breymier finished 3-for-5 with two runs and a run battled in for Owens, while Alex Samson was 2-for-5 with an RBI.
Owens plays Delta College in the winner' bracket semifinals today at noon.

Owens softball loses
BATTLE CREEK, Mich. - Owens Community College's softball team was an 11-6 loser Wednesday to Grand Rapids (Mich.) CC in the first round of the NJCAA regional tournament.
Amanda, Sinay, Emily Rockman and Mareshah Scott all were 2-for-4 Owens (21-16 overall), with Rockman hitting a home run and finishing with three runs batted in. Perrysburg High School graduate Tyniesha Wilson was 1-for-4 for the Express.
Owens plays Muskegon Community College at noon today in the losers bracket. If Owenswinsthat game, it'll take on Ancilla College or Lansing CC at 2 p.m.
Owens golf to play in regional
Owens Community College's men's golf team plays in the NJCAA regional tournament Monday and Tuesday at Bedford Valley Golf Club in Battle Creek, Mich.
Owens is ranked second nationally.
