BGHS football meeting set
There is a meeting Sunday for all students interested in playing freshman and varsity football next fall
for Bowling Green High School.
The 45-minute meeting starts at 5 p.m. in the small gym at BGHS.
Development soccer league planned
Registration is open for the Bowling Green Parks and Recreation Developmental League Soccer. The
developmental league is managed by the Bowling Green Soccer Club.
The program will consist of seven weeks of practice and six games. Practices begin the week of April 21
and games begin May 3.
The program is for ages 3-14. All practices and games will be played at the Dunbridge Soccer Fields.
The new coaches required certification class is April 9 from 6-8 p.m. at the Bowling Green Community
Center (Classroom A).
The participant cost for ages 3 and 4 is $45 and $50 for ages 5-14 if registered by April 14. There is a
$5 late registration fee.
All participants will receive a T-shirt. Players are required to wear shin guards and bring their own
soccer ball to practices and games.

BG Rifle Club loses
Fremont defeated the Bowling Green Rifle Club, 1,442-1,838.
BG’s scorers were: Kris Link, 288; Dan Altman, 283; Richard Dittman, 282; Mike Sayen, 266; and Russ
France, 264.
