Single-season tickets available for NCAA hockey regional
Single-session tickets are available for the NCAA Midwest Hockey Regional at the Huntington Center in Toledo.
Single-session tickets are $45, while all-session ticket prices remain $75 ($65 for students).
The semifinal games are Saturday as Notre Dame will face St. Cloud State at 1:30 p.m. followed by Miami against Minnesota State at 5 p.m. T
he winners will play for the regional championship and a trip to the Frozen Four Sunday at 4 p.m.
Tickets are available at all Ticketmaster outlets, www.ticketmaster.com and the Huntington Center and BGSU Ticket Offices. Fans can also charge by phone at 800-745-3000.
Michigan beats BGSU softball
ANN ARBOR, Mich. - The University of Michigan beat Bowling Green State University, 9-1, in a nonconference softball game Wednesday.
The Falcons, 12-8, had three hits in the game and Adrienne Dick drove in BG's run.
The game was called after the top of the fifth inning due to the mercy rule.
Youth boys basketball tourney planned
ROSSFORD - A youth boys basketball tournament is planned for May 4-5 in Rossford.
There are separate age groups for grades four-eight. All teams are guaranteed a minimum of three games and individual awards will be presented to the first and second place teams.
Proceeds from the tournament will benefit local parks in Rossford.
