Three BGSU gymnasts head to regionals
INDIANAPOLIS – Three Bowling Green State University gymnasts have qualified for NCAA regional
competition. The regional is at Baton Rouge, La., on April 5.
Alyssa Nocella, Gina Locigno and Megan Harrington will represent the Falcons in the all-around. BG’s
Lauren Feely is an alternate in both the all-around competition and the vault.
Harrington will make her third consecutive trip to NCAA regionals in the all-around, while Nocella has
qualified for the all-around in each of her first two years at BGSU. Locigno, a junior, returns to the
NCAA regionals after qualifying as a freshman in the all-around.

The top two teams and the top two all-around competitors (who are not on an advancing team) from each
regional will receive an automatic berth to the national championships in Birmingham, Ala., April 18-20.
As well, any individual event winner if not on a qualifying team will advance.
BG-Toledo baseball postponed
TOLEDO – Today’s Bowling Green Falcon baseball game at Toledo was postponed because of the weather. No
makeup date was announced.
Owens golf wins
MIDDLETOWN – Harrison Long shot a 3-under 69 to lead the No. 1 Owens Community College men’s golf team to
a first place finish in the Spring Classic.
Owens shot a 305, four strokes ahead of second place Cincinnati State Technical and Community College.

Other Owens scores were: Tyler Crossley, 77; Bradon Hoelzer, 79; Timothy Dawkins, 80; Philippe Weppernig,
Riley Robinson, and Dru Hein, 81; and Kirby Manown, 84.
Travel baseball team needs players
MILLBURY – A 9-and- under travel baseball team needs one or two more players for the upcoming season.
The team plays in the NWOABL plus several tournaments.
