BGSU baseball wins
WINTER HAVEN, Fla. – The Bowling Green Falcon baseball team beat Evansville, 4-2 Wednesday. The Falcons
are 5-10.
Jason Link and Ben Singer each pitched four innings for the Falcons, combining to allow six hits with no
runs, three walks and one strikeout.
Jeremy Shay was 3-for-4 with two RBI for the Falcons while Brian Bien, Andrew Kubuski, and Patrick
Lancaster each had two hits.
BG’s Greg Basalyga hit his second home run in two days while Lancaster and Trey Keegan each hit a double.

Falcon women’s tennis wins
PALM SPRINGS, Calif. – The Bowling Green State University women’s tennis team defeated Rhode Island, 5-2
Wednesday. The Falcons are 5-3.
BG’s Nikki Chiricosta teamed with sophomore Katie Brozovich for a doubles victory, the 178th total win of
her BGSU career. She has moved into a tie for first place in school history on that list, matching the
record set by her sister, Christine Chiricosta (2008-11).
BG Rifle Team loses
The Bowling Green Rifle Team was a 1,460-1,412 loser to New Pittsburg.
BG’s scores were: Dan Altman, 290; Don Link, 286; Bob Schwiebert, 283; Norbert Norden, 281; and Mike
Sayen, 272.
Kira Miller and Jerry Milnor also fired for BG, 2-14 overall.
Woodmore needs
head football coach
ELMORE – Woodmore High School is accepting applications for head varsity football coach
Candidates should have previous interscholastic football coaching experience and evidence of strong
leadership, management, and communication skills.
