Falcon cross country recognized for academics
NEW ORLEANS - Bowling Green's women's and men's cross country teams received all-academic honors from the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association.
The women had a 3.4917 grade-point average, while the men had a 3.533 GPA. Teams must have a 3.0 gpa and send at least five runners to compete in the team's NCAA regional meet.
The women were honored for the 12th straight year, while the men were honored for the third time in the last five years.

Elmwood girls tickets on sale
JERRY CITY - Tickets for the Elmwood girls basketball district game tickets are on sale in high school office.
The game is Thursday at 6:15 p,m. at Toledo Central Catholic.
Tickets are $6 for adults and $4 for students. Tickets will be $6 at the door.

Lake plans reverse raffle
MILLBURY - The Lake Athletic Boosters will hold their 22nd annual reverse raffle and dinner March 16 at the Millbury Fireman's Hall.
Doors open at 6 p.,m., followed by dinner at 7.
Raffle ticketsare $80 and include dinner and open bar. Additional guest tickets (including dinner and bar) are $30. The grand prize is $2,500.
