Prep games postponed
Thursday’s Lake at Northwood boys game, and the Fremont St. Joseph at North Baltimore and Fostoria St.
Wendelin at Lakota girls games were postponed.
The St. Joseph-North Baltimore game has been rescheduled for Jan. 28.
BGSU sets volleyball camps
The Bowling Green State University volleyball team will host Lil’ Falcon and Junior Falcon spring
developmental volleyball camps beginning Jan. 20 in the Stroh Center.
All sessions are instructed by the BGSU volleyball staff and players and there are two sessions ($50 per
session or $80 for both).
BGSU faculty and staff receive a $20 discount and the camps are open to boys and girls ages 7-12.

Owens’ Hoelzer competes in invitational
LITCHFIELD, Ariz. – Brandon Hoelzer, a sophomore member of the Owens Community College men’s golf team,
fought off a tough first round to post back-to-back solid rounds in a 62nd place finish at the The
Patriot All-America Invitational.
Hoelzer had a 13-over 83 in the first round. However, he bounced back with a 2-over 72 and a 3-over 73 in
the second and third rounds on Monday and Tuesday.
Each of the 83 golfers carried a bag honoring the name of a fallen soldier embroidered on the side
pocket.
