Mud Hens win on Saturday (07-02-12) PDF Print E-mail

COLUMBUS - Toledo's game at Columbus on Sunday was postponed.
The Clippers and Mud Hens will play a doubleheader on July 25 starting at 5:35 p.m.  Both games will be seven-inning contests with 30 minutes in between games.
On Saturday, Casey Crosby (5-2) and Jose Ortega combined on a two-hitter as Toledo posted an 8-1 win over Columbus. Crosby pitched the first seven innings allowing no runs on one hit with four walks, four strikeouts.
Top hitters for Toledo were: John Lindsey 2-for-4, double, home run, four RBI; Ben Guez, 3-for-5, two RBI; and Rob Brantly and Audy Ciriaco, both 2-for-4.
