FORT MILL, S.C. - Toledo scored four times in the ninth inning to tie the game and then got the eventual game-winning run in the top of the 11th in a 6-5 win over Charlotte Monday. The victory snapped a six-game losing streak for the Mud Hens, now 16-36.
For Toledo, Danny Dorn had a two-RBI single in the ninth, Brandon Douglas hit a RBI single and Argenis Diaz hit an RBI double. Nick Castellanos scored in the 11th inning on a wild pitch for Toledo.
Douglas finished 3-for-6, Castellanos was 3-for-4 while Diaz and Jordan Lennerton each had two hits. Lennerton has now hit in 16 straight games.
On Sunday, Gwinnett posted a 9-0 win. Dorn had two of Toledo's five hits.
On Saturday, Gwinnett beat Toledo, 4-2. Lennerton hit a solo home run, his eighth home run of the year. Lennerton and Diaz each had two hits and Douglas had three hits with a double.
