SYRACUSE, N.Y. - Toledo split an International League doubleheader with Syracuse, losing the opener 1-0 and taking the second game, 4-3. Both games were seven-inning contests.
Casey Crosby (7-6) took the loss in the opener, pitching six innings while allowing four hits, including a home run to Sandy Leon, and one walk, while striking out four. Toledo managed three singles.
In the second game, Toledo pounded out 11 hits, including 10 singles, with Justin Henry going 4-for-4 with two runs scored. Jerad Head was 2-for-3 with an RBI.
Toledo is 51-75 in the IL West.
