TOLEDO - Charlotte's Terry Doyle took a no-hitter into the ninth inning Thursday as the Knights posted a 6-1 win over Toledo. The Mud Hens, who have lost five straight, are 27-34 in the International League West.
Audy Ciriaco led off the ninth with a double for Toledo and he later scored on Justin Henry's single.
Doyle (6-3) pitched 8 1/3 innings allowing one hit, one earned run and three walks with nine strikeouts.
Andy Oliver (3-5) took the loss, pitching 7 2/3 innings, allowing five hits, two walks and three earned runs with six strikeouts.
