Freibergs dresses again but doesn't play PDF Print E-mail

Bowling Green's Ralfs Freibergs dressed but didn't play for the second straight game today in the men's Olympic hockey tournament.
The sophomore was one of eight defensemen dressed for Latvia, which lost a 4-2 decision to the Czech Republic.
Latvia fell to 0-2 in its pool with one game remaining. It opened the tournament Wednesday with a 1-0 loss to Switzerland.
The Latvians play Saturday at noon against Sweden. The USA Network will show the game.
All 12 teams advance to the medal round. The three pool winners and the team with the next best record receive byes to the quarterfinals.
The other eight teams play Tuesday, with the winners advancing to the quarterfinals Wednesday. - GORDON
