I would like to take this opportunity to say a big "thank you" to Jeff Kill and the BGSU students who helped him organize the "zombie walk" on Oct. 17. They gathered over 300 items for the pantry.
Also, thank you to the two businesses that took in all that food. I can't mention names in this letter, but you know who you are.
This is the time of year when our food runs low and that walk helped a great deal.

That is awesome to have received so many items. A big thank you to Jeff and all his helpers and all those that participated. It was so great seeing so many having fun! And thanks to all the businesses that helped out! It was nice to see the community of all ages pull together!

Totally agree, this would be a nice thing to make a yearly practice of. Gives some of the older kids & adults some fun way to contribute to a needy cause, I miss the Halloween parade that B.G. used to have, the trick & Treat downtown is wonderful too, but this has a cause attached to it. If Zombies go out of fashion, pick another theme.

Big zombie thanks go out to the the over 30 businesses who sponsored the walk as well as the university and downtown associations who collaborated on the event with us and especially all the volunteers who came form all walks of life to support 3 local charities at this event.

Of course we couldn't have been so successful without all the zombie participants. Looking forward to raising the dead again next year with a bigger event with more activities.

Thanks to all and keep your comments and suggestions coming in!
