How lucky we are in Wood County to have all of the services which Wood Lane provides. Wood Lane School offers an outstanding educational experience for children with developmental disabilities as they strive to achieve their personal potential. Wood Lane Residential offers independence to clients in a group home setting. Wood Lane Industries and Community Employment Services provide our community with many needed services while providing meaningful work for the clients they serve.
The success of these programs is due in part to the very supportive taxpayers in Wood County. It has been 13 years since Wood Lane has asked the community to pass a levy and in that time enrollment has increased by 185 percent, state funding has been cut and expenses continue to rise.
As life-long residents of Bowling Green, we have seen many families touched by Wood Lane and all its services. For many, Wood Lane has offered them assistance from birth until death. Let's rally together and vote yes for Wood Lane on Nov. 5.
