To the Editor: Vote no on Issue 3

Casinos may sound like a glitzy, exciting development in Ohio.  But I hope doesn't happen.  Beneath it all lays deception; hopes for a better life are dashed out of sight, and more social problems for our neighbors, police, courts, counselors, pastors, and schools to deal with.  With casinos will come gambling addicts, increased crime, ruined lives, more broken families, drugs, alcoholism and so forth.  For every $1 gambling generates, it costs $3 in social costs.  Not a good investment.  On this basis, I am voting no on Issue 3.
