To the Editor: U.S. needs more honorable Congress members like Latta

0

I’m tired of the recent editorial attacks on Bob Latta by Obama Democrats who can best be described as
uninformed voters. Thank God we have honorable people, like Bob Latta and his father before him, for
opposing Obama policies that are contrary to the founding principles of this country. Why else would
these uninformed Americans defend the policies of this president, the most destructive of all being
Obamacare?
Obamacare was born on the foundation of lies. You can keep your doctor, you can keep your healthcare plan
and you can save $2,500 per year, all of which are lies.
If the truth were told, you can’t keep your doctor, you can’t keep your current healthcare plan, it will
cost you $2,500 more in premiums with a $6,000 plus co-pay, your work hours will be cut to 30 hours per
week or less, your employer will stop offering health insurance so now you have to use taxable wages to
buy insurance that could increase your taxes over $1,000/yr. for many families, Americans will be
discouraged to work in order to be eligible for healthcare subsidies, this totally irresponsible health
care legislation would not have been passed into law.
Not one Republican in Congress voted for this abomination of our health care system. The lies are still
forthcoming from Obamacare Democrats to cover up the disaster effects of this legislation. Obamacare
Democrats, who are up for election in November, who voted for this legislation and promoted these lies
in speeches to get this legislation passed, are not honorable politicians and do not deserve to be
returned to Washington.
It’s always been said in a debate that when you are losing the argument, you resort to name calling,
worthless rhetoric, blaming others, lying and ignoring the facts, in an attempt to persuade others to
your side. Obamacare can be repealed by electing honorable people like Bob Latta, who is a true American
that believes in the founding principles of this great country. He will make the right decisions
regarding our healthcare system and vote to replace Obamacare with a system that will help all Americans
without bankrupting individuals and this great country.
I say to all voters, elect honorable people to Congress, regardless of party affiliation. Obamacare
Democrats and Rhino-Republicans, who put party over the best interests of this country and its citizens
must go.
