If they hurry the Lake Township Trustees may be able to get Todd Walters to stay on as fire chief.
Todd's only transgression was that he failed to report the use of two bottles of saline. He did not participate in the use or taking of this item.
It seems a small break of the rules, ("a poor decision") should not negate all that Todd has done for Millbury in his 30 year career. It seems the Trustees are inforcing the letter of the law and not the spirit of the law. I have known Todd for 32 years as a co worker and friend, he is a class act.
I would suggest the good folks of Millbury talk to the trustees to keep Todd from leaving. I do not know the Hallocks but if they worked with/for Todd they deserve to be retained as well.
