I am writing to thank the Scouts in the Otsego School District for doing a wonderful job with their recent food drive.  Thanks to those scouts and their leaders and parents who left fliers on doors all over Haskins, Grand Rapids, Tontogany and Weston, plus those who picked up the bags of food and delivered them to the pantry.  You gathered over 4,000 items - the most ever - and we are so appreciative!  I also need to thank those who sorted the food and counted the items.  Thanks to Lisa Ann Hatfield for leading the crew that sorted and counted and got the pantry ready to receive the items.  Thanks to my crew who came in and put the food into the pantry.  We are now much better prepared to face the coming winter months.  Thanks to those who drove around and picked up scattered bags, especially Brent Bomer.  This drive is always a success, but this year everyone really stepped up to help those in need in our area.  Have a wonderful Holiday Season and thanks again!
