I would like thank Wood County residents for their support of Scouting for Food!
A total of 9,683 items were collected in the communities of Bowling Green, Bloomdale, Bradner, Custar, Cygnet, Grand Rapids, Haskins, Jerry City, Luckey, Milton Center, Moline, North Baltimore, Pemberville, Portage, Rudolph, Tontogany, Walbridge and Wayne. The items were delivered to food pantries, which serve those communities.
I would like to extend a sincere thank you to Wood District Cub and Boy Scouts, Crew members, Scout leaders, family members and friends for distributing flyers and returning Saturday to pick up, count and deliver donated items. Thank you also to Girl Scout Troop 10067 for helping sort incoming food and stocking shelves at BG Christian Food Pantry.
Whether you supported Scouting for Food with a generous food donation or are a Scout, who gave a donation of time - thank you very much!
