I recently submitted a letter in regards to the bushes at Oak and Maple Street in Weston. These bushes block the view of the stop sign, preventing your ability to see oncoming traffic or pedestrians. For the past 8 months I have been contacting Mayor Lashuay, council, the commissioners office and most recently ODOT in an attempt to get the matter resolved.
It seems that the mayor has taken this to be a personal vendetta against him, while in all truth, all I want is for the intersection to be safe. Until the intersection is safe I will continue to write my letters and make my phone calls, even when this results in personal threats against myself and my family.
I know that I am not the only person in the village of Weston that cannot see around the bushes, and I know that I am not the only person that has to turn blindly into traffic. Please callĀ  council and let them know that your safety and the safety of your family is important and that the issue needs to be resolved.
If the village is not able to have the intersection made visible, then designate it a 3-way stop, or put up dangerous intersection sign. Do not just ignore the problem or threaten those that point it out. Until this situation is resolved, I once again urge you to use extreme caution.
